Ans. Hearing the sounds the dolphin move together to cat fishes. With their 140 needle like teeth, thcy catch and hold and Swallow the fishes,
What are the threats which dolphins are facing ?
Ans. Pollution and men are the main threats, the dolphins are. Their homes, the rivers are becoming more and more polluted. Fishermen kill them and for these reasons, they are rapidly decreasing in numbers.
Q. 4. What happened to Suraj while fishing ?
Ans. Mangal, the fisherman, was not well. So, his son Suraj had to come to fish alone. The river was rough that day. High waves turned his boat upside down. He began to drown. He cried for help. Just then a dolphin pushed him towards the bank and thus saved his life.

Ans. THE DOLPHIN
Dolphins look like a fish but they aren't fish. They are mammals like men. They are not born out of eggs but are born and fed like mammals. They breathe air through the blow hole on their heads. Dolphins live in various seas and rivers. They can be seen in the north and far castern seas, in the Black and the Baltic Seas. Dolphins living in sea grow up to several metres. Their body colour is black on the top and their belly is white. They have 140 needle-like teeth through which they catch and hold fishes. They don't chew but swallow their food. They produce clicking sounds and whistle under the water. They find their food by sound. They live in groups and are co-operative to each other.
